We don’t recommend solid wood for bathrooms. It can work in kitchens with care, but for wetter rooms LVT or water-resistant laminate is usually more practical.
Looked after well, solid wood can last for decades. Because it can be sanded and refinished several times, you can refresh its appearance again and again over its lifetime.
We prepare the subfloor and test for moisture first, then glue or nail the boards depending on your subfloor and room. Finally, we finish the edges neatly with matching skirting or trims.
